Probe 0.5mm Insulator Hood
The 'Insulator' line is a 0.5mm thin neoprene lined with Metalite which keeps you warm by reflecting heat to the body. Being so thin it will contort to your cranium in order to create a snug fit, the more snug the more warmth due to the tight packing of your hair. Hair is a natural insulator, as are the air bubbles held by those hairs but unlike sea mammals we don't excrete copious amounts of oil, that's why we wear wetsuits!
The Probe hood is ideal for diving in colder to temperate waters and use for surface water sports, canyoning and OCR.
